                Class Descriptions

                _2 years to Pre-k: This introductory yoga class provides a fun, noncompetitive environment to help children with their flexibility, development, balance, and social skills through partner work.  While playing fun, creative story yoga games, children will expand their imagination and body awareness at the same time.  Foot rubs at the end of the lesson help children relax after a fun-packed class of playing yoga!

                Elementary School-age children: This class provides age-appropriate physical challenges aimed to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination through fun yoga games and practicing yoga poses.gin to utilize the language of yoga called Sanskrit. Students at this level be Focus meditation helps elementary-aged children relieve anxiety and increase body awareness, while yoga games help build social skills and build confidence with other sports.

                Teens and Tweens: Classes focus on increasing confidence and physical ability, while helping to relieve stress.  Meditation, breathing, and positive thoughts are emphasized, along with self-awareness and self-esteem.  Older students will begin to learn more Sanskrit language and delve deeper into yoga positions, bridging the gap to adult yoga. This class is great for teens who suffer from test anxiety!
